2 days

I am always amazed how 2 days can look so very different.

Day 1

Every morning I wake up at 5:30 to read my Bible, journal and drink coffee before I wake up the kids and life gets crazy and busy. On mornings I have places to go I try to wake up extra early...Wednesday was one of those mornings. So early it was, but I was ready for the day. I took the boys to school, took Milly to school and then headed over to the dentist to get a cavity filled. I REALLY REALLY REALLY hate going to the dentist. I was so nervous about this procedure I thought I was going to die. I am not's quite ridiculous I know 😉 Especially because start to finish took about 20 minutes. I left the office a little numb but overall feeling great!

Then 2 hours later...

I felt horrible. My lip was still insanely numb and my mouth hurt so bad. It was quite the bummer. I literally laid in bed for about an hour and played with snapchat filters.

They really are THAT fun!

Even though I was feeling yucky I still took the boys to gymnastics.

Once we got home later we ate dinner (thank you crock pot meals) and then I was yelled at by my shirtless 4 year old about dessert. Should we be worried that she always wants to be naked???!!!

Oi vey...I was so done at that point. The entire day was a bust compared to what I thought it would be. I couldn't WAIT to get in bed and say bye bye to the day.

Day 2

I woke feeling blah but ready to tackle the day and make it better! Aiden had a Living Museum at his school where all the 5th grade dressed up as a historical character they had been studying. It was another early morning for me but I was pretty excited about the day so it wasn't that big of a deal. Aiden was so cute dressed up as Einstein.

And his presentation at his station was so great!

I loved his poem he wrote. Writing is not his strong suit, so to read this made my heart so happy!

After walking around and seeing all the kids (which were all very impressive) we kissed Cameron goodbye and headed to Milly's preschool. She was having a Thanksgiving Feast that afternoon, so I dropped her off, ran some errands and then headed back over.

I got there a little early to spy on her at the playground. She was SO cute!!! I love watching my kids at school when they don't know I'm watching. Wait...that sounded very stalkerish 🙈 LOL!

After the feast we headed home to grab a few things and then off to meet the boys and our carpool at a local restaurant with a playground. We played and ate for about 2 hours and then off to the biggest night of the year at our school...The Teacher Talent Show!
The boys were so excited and it ended up being really fun and entertaining. Overall the day was a success!

I love that God gives us the grace to have a redo. To take the not so great events from one day and turn them around the next. For that I will forever be grateful!

Happy Friday friends!
